Staying at this hotel was like stepping into a magical Somerset Maugham story with its unique and atmospheric rooms. It truly made us feel like we were in the most exotic location, but the lack of a lift to the top floor might require a bit of fitness. The central location was great for exploring the narrow streets of Stone Town.

I felt like I was living in a Somerset Maugham story with the fantastic and unique atmosphere of the rooms. The hotel truly offers a magical experience. However, the dining experience fell a bit short with some bland options. The location was superb, right in the heart of Stone Town, surrounded by friendly faces. The service received was top-notch, offering an excellent personal touch. Overall, a delightful stay with a few minor drawbacks.
